What is Thayssa?

Thayssa is an AI companion app. You pick a character from the catalogue — or describe one and have it built for you — and then you talk, by text or by voice, in whatever language you like. Conversations carry over: the character remembers what you told it last time, so you don't start from zero every evening.

Is Thayssa free to use?

Yes. The free plan includes the whole character catalogue, memory between conversations and a daily message limit, plus a few voice notes and images to try. Paid plans start at $7.99 a month and mainly raise limits and unlock voice and image generation. No card is needed to start.

Can I create my own AI companion?

Yes. Describe them in a line — a name, a job, a temperament, how they should talk to you — and Thayssa writes the rest, including their voice and their face. You can keep editing them afterwards, and they stay yours.

Which languages does it work in?

Thayssa is multilingual and switches language mid-conversation. People use it in English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese and many others — including to practise a language they are learning, which is what a teacher character like Nanako is for.

Does it remember previous conversations?

Yes, on every plan including the free one. Names, moods, the thing you were worried about on Tuesday — they come back in the next conversation. Paid plans keep more of that memory, for longer.

Who can see my conversations?

You. Conversations are private to your account, they are not sold or shared, and we do not train models on your private chats. You can delete a conversation, or your whole account, whenever you want. The details are in our privacy policy.

Is there an iPhone or Android app?

Thayssa runs in any modern browser and can be added to your phone's home screen today, where it behaves like an app. Native apps are in closed beta on the App Store and Google Play and will open to everyone soon.

Am I talking to a real person?

No. Every character is an AI persona — fictional, generated, and honest about it if you ask. Thayssa is for adults: you need to be 18 or older to sign up.
